Winners of the Porches, Terraces, and Patios Challenge!

8

Seeing all the transformations that took place in the great outdoors for this challenge has sent us out to our own porches to fix them up and learn to enjoy them again.  It was hard to put down our glasses of lemonade and leave the porch swing and rocking chair to write this post!  But we did, because we’re so excited to show off the winners of the Porches, Terraces, and Patios Challenge.

This week, our guest judge was Gina Luker, visiting from The Shabby Creek Cottage.

Gina really enjoyed viewing all of the entries.  Here’s what she said about her judging duties:

“Thank you so much for inviting me to be a guest judge this week, it’s been so much fun to find new blogs to love, as well as be inspired by all the amazing ideas. It was so, SO hard to pick it down to just 10… I loved all the projects so much!”

Being a guest judge for The CSI Project is a tough job, Gina!  Our readers really are amazing.  Gina did manage to narrow her choices down, and we’re delighted to feature this week’s winners.

Gina told us why she made each selection, so we’ve included her sweet compliments to each of our winners in italics beneath each of their pictures.  Enjoy!

In addition to our featured challenge winners, we get to select a winner of this week’s giveaway, sponsored by Dinky Bird Boutique.

Dinky Bird Boutique sells beautiful, bejeweled floral fabric accessories, designed and handcrafted by Stephanie Bowman.  Stephanie is offering the winner of this week’s giveaway this stunning silver floral clip.

Taking entries from the challenge projects and comments left on the sponsor post, we randomly selected this week’s winner,

Project #32 Rock Patio from Gingersnap Crafts.

Congratulations, Ginger!  We know you’ll love wearing your gorgeous flower clip from Dinky Bird Boutique.

Again, we’d like to thank our giveaway sponsor (Stephanie from Dinky Bird Boutique) and guest judge (Gina from The Shabby Creek Cottage) for joining us this week.  And we want to thank all of our readers who presented their porches, terraces, and patios for this challenge.  We always enjoy seeing what you’ve created!

Please join us again next week for another fun challenge:

  2. Yeah! Thanks so much Gina and the awesome CSI gals. I am getting ready to go work out there right now. Love all the color and ideas!

    Toodles,

    Laura

  3. Thank you so much, Jen, for the shout out! And thank you for the lovely comments above! It was so fun to create an outdoor space for around $10.00. It doesn’t have to be pricey to make you happy. 🙂
