Hi and welcome back to The CSI Project!

This week we had a great challenge and I am so impressed by the creative Kid’s Holiday crafts

Our guest judge this week was Amy from The Idea Room. She was the perfect judge for this week because she is a mom to 5 kids and if you visited her blog, then you know she knows a thing or 2 about crafting with them.

Amy viewed all of your links and picked her favorites. Here are her top picks.

Her comments are in italics.

Did she pick your project?

Let’s find out who is the winner of the challenge and who made her  favorites list.

Clay Pot Children’s Nativity set from Today’s Fabulous finds

Love this!  Such a great idea to have a nativity that the kids could actually play with and then to also be able to use it as a decoration.

Cupcake Liner Christmas Tree Cards by 36th Avenue

Love the fun colors and textures!

Matchbox Advent Calendar from Alderberry Hill

Everything little is a lot more cute!  I can imagine putting fun little notes in each match box.

DIY Snow Globe from Roackabye Butterfly

Who knew it was so easy to make your very own, customizable snow globes.  This is a must do with my kids this year.

Dry Erase Advent Calendar from  36th Avenue

So many fun possibilities with this one.  And can be reused from year to year.

I Spy Ornaments from A Diamond in the Stuff

My kids are told to not touch the ornaments.  How fun to have one that they are encouraged to touch AND play with.

Cinnamon Applesauce Ornaments from The Counry Chic Cottage

Yum!  I bet they smell fantastic on the tree or a garland!!  My kids would love to make these

Snowball Soap from Gluesticks

Such a great activity for kids of all ages.  Who wouldn’t love to play with a big soapy snowball??

Torn Paper Christmas Tree from Gluesticks

Great activity for even the smallest of kids to be able to do “by themselves”!  My pre-schooler’s favorite phrase right now :)

Colorful DIY Garland from ReMade Simple

I love how fun and simple this garland is.  Plus I love the bright pop of color it adds to your decor.  How fun would this be on a christmas tree too?

Thumb Tack Tree from My Covered Bridge

Such a different and creative idea.  I would have never thought of this, but I love the fun silvery color!  An easy and fun Christmas project the littlest fingers could do.

Famiy Christmas Tree Handprints from Balancing Home

I am such a sucker for handprints, so this project tugs at my heart strings. Do you think my 17 year old is too old to do this?

Nah, I will make him anyway. Last Christmas before college. Now, I have a justifiable reason.

Congratulations to all of the CSI winners. Be sure to go grab your button here and proudly display on your blog.

You have earned it!
