Winners of the Dollar Store Crafts Challenge

And the winners are…………………

This was a fun week! I am so inspired by your creative ways of using dollar store finds.

Be sure to go through the links and find some inspriration for yourself.

Our guest judge Janny from Que Linda, had the most difficult job picking the winners.

Here is what she said about her judging experience.

Thanks for having me as a guest judge!  I enjoyed getting to meet you and to see all your creative juices at work.

Let’s see who she picked. It just might be you!

Judge’s Comments are in italics.

#10 Fort Building Kit from Dukes and Duchesses

This is genius!   I’m going to keep this in mind for when my daughter is old enough to build a fort.  Wouldn’t this make a fun gift too?

#27 Blue Mercury Glass from Morena’s Corner

I’ve seen mercury glass around a lot lately, but I think I might actually be able to pull it off after seeing how awesome this turned out.  It’s absolutely beautiful.

#3 Giant Painted Scissors from Tales of a Trophy Wife

This is so original.  I want one for my craft room!

#30 Cookie Sheet to Shamrock from Morena’s Corner

Who would of thought?  I love this!  The possibilities are endless for what you can cut out of a cookie sheet.

#17 Framed Spring from A Diamond in the Stuff

This is an awesome way to decorate a room.  I want to put my daughter’s name in the frames for her bedroom.

#20 Dollar Store Vase from Alderberry Hill

This makes a dollar store find look expensive.  It’s so simple, but has a huge impact.

#8 Dollar Store Bookends from Sweet Suite 10

These bookends look like something from Pottery Barn.  It’s an amazing transformation.

#24 Capiz Shell Tidbit Stand from Carolyn’s Homework

This stand is gorgeous!

#25 Silver Animal Jars from Carolyn’s Homework

These are super unique and the silver color makes them look expensive.

#15 Dollar Store Art Wall from The Little Brown House

This looks so fancy and I love the decals that Sharyl put on them.  Very nice!

#29 Song Birds from Bleak 2 Unique

This is very creative! I love it and thanks for linking up.

Not sure if you realized, but the photo of the giant scissors you posted in the “winners” lineup is not a shot of the submitted project. It’s the crafter’s inspiration photo from Pottery Barn.

Thank you so much, so excited to be one of your winners!! I made the shamrock over at watchmedaddy.blogspot.com. I noticed it said it was from Morena’s Corner :). Just wanted to let people know how to find it if they were wanting to make anything like it!! Thanks!!
