Challenge of the Week{The Hardware Store}

In my crafty life, I love to gather inspiration from 4 places.

The craft stores, thrift stores, The Dollar Store and finally the hardware store {AKA Home Depot, Lowe’s}. Have you ever asked where something is and they ask you what you are making? Then, when you tell them it is for crafting, the look on their face is priceless. So funny!

This week, we want to see your projects that you have made with materials from the Hardware Store.

If you haven’t made one yet, YOU still have time and come back here everyday for a tutorial and inspiration.

To kick this week off, I wanted to share with you a Kids birthday party from The Exception, Not the Rule.

Kara  threw a party for her 4 year old with building in mind and the creativity is through the roof!

From the invitation to these cute hard hats for each guest.

I also loved these cookies she made.

How fun is this!!! They had the kids attend a Build and Grow Workshop at Lowe’s. Such a great idea for kids who love to build and for them to learn new skills.

These aprons are super cute too! What fun for all and I have to say Lowe’s does a fantastic job at these workshops.This could be your next play date!

For more party information and ideas, go see Kara’s blog, The Exception, Not the Rule.

This week bring your projects made from hardware store goodies!  We will have 3 awesome tutorials for you and then the challenge is on. You know what to do!

As always, here is the schedule for the week!
