This was a fun week and I was so inspired your favorite projects of 2012. I think by looking at these projects we see that 2013 will be even better. I am so honored that you came to The CSI Project to share your projects. The creativity is amazing!
Be sure to go through the links and find some inspiration for yourself.
Our guest judge, Megan from Apple House Revival, had the most difficult job picking the winners. I think she did a fantastic job though!
Here is what she said about her judging experience.
She had the hard task of selecting the winners, so let’s see how she did.
Judges comments in bold.
And the winners are……drum roll, please…
Poinsettia Tree Skirt from Purple Hues and Me
Converging Corners Quilt from Steph Jacobson
I’ve always admired beautifully pieces quilts. This one is modern, happy, and gorgeous!
Dresser Rehabilitation from Sweet Suite Ten
I know how much work goes into bringing a beautiful piece of wood furniture back to life. It delights me that this dresser will likely be enjoyed for a few more generations.
Metal Flower from Crissy’s Crafts
Yellow TV/ Media Stand from Fresh Cut Flours
Note Board in Chicken Wire and Burlap from Altered Artworks
I can’t resist a good trash to treasure makeover. I’m going to need one of these in my home sooner than later!
Crochet T-Shirt Yarn Rug from One Dog Woof
This kind of rug has been on my ‘want to try’ list for awhile now. ChiWei knocked it out of the park!
Map Closet ‘Door’ from Night Garden Blog
I’m a sucker for old maps and this is just plain inspired. I wish I had a closet that needed a new door!
Tie Dye Drop Cloth Shoes from Condo Blues
Craft Nook from Fancy Frugal Life
There are so many projects that I love this week so I am going to pick a few and tell you why I love them.
Because I love to throw parties and love coming up with themes, I pick this Stepford Wives party by Entirely Eventful.
I love the colors and details of this party.
For creativity and the sentiment behind this project, I love this Keepsake Suitcase from Kaminski’s Creations.
One of my favorite projects I ever did was taking my grandmother’s old suitcase and turning it into a picnic basket. Love was my theme in honor of my grandparents. So, this project touched my heart. Love it!
Here is my vintage suitcase project.
Also, because I love a good makeover and a kitchen one at that, I love this Dining room makeover from Ironstone Nest.
The before and after is incredible. I happen to love this blog too! Big fan!
Congratulations to all of the CSI winners. Be sure to go grab your button here and proudly display on your blog.
You have earned it!
Also, we had a winner this week. Melissa who linked up first won a $25 card from Etsy and now another winner will be announced. I used Random.org to give me a winner based on who linked up and the winner is…………………..
