We are back from Spring Break!
I am your CSI Girl and I am ready to get craftin’!
Who is with me?
Ever have something in your craft stash that you just can’t use for its intended purpose?
This canvas bag was that for me.
I wanted to use it but not just for a bag. With Easter just around the corner, I had an idea.
The canvas material makes this pillow strong and hearty enough to sit on my porch. The porch is covered so I don’t have to worry about rain but I still want my outdoor pillows to withstand being outside. So, this canvas bag is perfect.
With a little paint, I transformed this cheap, plain bag into a cute spring pillow.
Step 1: I traced a bunny from one I picked up from The Dollar Tree.
Step 2: After your have your bunny, paint it!
Step 3: Design your bunny. I wanted mine to be chevron.
Step 4: Add embellishments. I made a tail out of yarn and added a ribbon.
Step 5: Time to make this bag into a pillow. I simply cut off the handles and stuffed it. Then sewed it. Easy!
I added ribbon to hide where I sewed and well……because bows are so cute!!!
Create your own pillow for Easter or for any holiday. These canvas bags are cheap and you can find them at any craft store.
So, for a few bucks, I have a new DIY pillow.
Hippity-Hoppity Easter is on its way!!!!
