Weekly Organization Shelf{Elphia Designs}

Hello everyone!  My name is Sharon.  I sew and create original handbags and purses at http://www.elphiadesigns.com/ and sell them at http://www.blogger.com/www.elphiadesigns.etsy.com This is so exciting for me to be doing a guest post.  In fact, it’s my 1st one ever! Woo hoo! I love all things “organization”…though I may not always be organized!  This project is a good effort toward sorting out whose “paper goods” are whose.  By this I mean mail, school info, to do lists, etc… I wanted it to be more than just a way to organize, however, I wanted to use it for showcasing special pictures {…Read More…}

Travel Organizer{Mrs. Greene}

Hello again, CSIers! I’m Rhonda, aka Mrs. Greene, and I have a confession: I’m not very organized. It’s something I’ve been trying to tackle! If there is one thing I’m terrible about keeping organized, it’s paperwork. I’m terrible about filing things. Last year’s tax returns? I would have to hunt to find them. Last month’s electric bill? It’s around here somewhere… I think. But there is one time I’m always on top of my paperwork: when I’m traveling! It’s one thing to lose track of documents and paperwork around the house; when you’re standing at the front of a line {…Read More…}

Hello! I am Rachel, and I’m ridiculously excited to be this week’s guest judge. Organizing is one of my “hobbies” and I can’t wait to see what ideas you all have in store! My blog, Family Ever After, is my excuse for “continuing education.” I was a Family and Consumer Science Education in major in college, and I enjoy converting my every day living into a life of its own on the blog. Basically it’s a big mish mash of sewing, crafting, food, family, travel, gardening, clogging, pictures, my thoughts, and a link party on Friday night.   A bit {…Read More…}

Challenge of the Week{Window Treatments}

It always seems that I decorate my whole home and then by the time I get around to curtains, I am stumped. Especially in my family room that has 2 huge windows. Call it lack of inspiration, motivation or just plain lazy. Who knows but it is really hard to find window treatments you love. At least for me, it is and then after a while, I want to change them up. So, either I go from store to store looking or browse online but I usually end of saying, “I can just  make some.” That is the birth of a {…Read More…}
