Felt Flower Topiaries{See Vanessa Craft}

Felt-Flower-Topiary-12

Hey guys! I’m Vanessa and I blog about my love for glitter and glue guns at See Vanessa Craft. A huge thank you to the CSI Project for inviting me to participate in the flower project challenge, I’m so excited to be here! I created these felt flower topiaries to help decorate the dessert table at a craft party I recently hosted. They are easy to make, but require a bit of time and patience (you may not ever want to see felt again after this project is complete). The effort was totally worth the end result. Aside from a {…Read More…}

balloonflower2_web

They say April showers  bring May flowers and as we go into May in just a few days, here at The CSI Project we wanted to celebrate flowers. All over blogland there are so many great flower tutorials. How great is this balloon Daisy tutorial! I love these and can’t wait to make some.   Recently, I needed a thank you gift for a friend and I needed it fast. So much for planning! So, I ransacked my craft room and grabbed a blank canvas and then I had an idea. I knew I wanted something with flowers but what kind? {…Read More…}

  My Styling Cabinet This project has been in the works or in my head for quite some time.  I’m so glad that I get to share it with you today and show you how I transformed an old medicine cabinet into becoming one of the most useful and functional pieces of equipment in my bathroom.  I hated always having to pull out my hair dryer, curling iron or flat iron in the mornings to get ready.  It was always so time consuming to plug in, unplug and put away and I wanted to find a more efficient way of {…Read More…}

Welcome back to another week of crafty fun here at The CSI Project. In honor of Earth Day, this week we will be focusing on recycling, re-using and re-purposing. This is one of my favorite things to do. I love finding and using things around my house or nature to craft with. I also love browsing the thrift stores looking for items to bring back to life and give them a new purpose. So, in honor of Earth Day I am having an Earth Day inspired dinner. What a great way to teach our kids the importance of recycling and {…Read More…}
