Oh my heavenly days....how excited am I to introduce our guest judge for this week's challenge??? We are truly honored to have with us the uber fabulous, simply divine, absolutely darling.....THE one and only Nester from Nesting Place. {{{SQUEAL}}} I could almost hate her for being so stinkin cute I could die! That is one pretty family right there, I tell ya. Although, The Nester is beyond adorable, she is also one very inspiring and talented lady. She is known throughout blogland for her famous tagline and philosophy..... "It doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful." This philosophy made a HUGE impact on me when I first started blogging 22 months ago. I think I was under the influence of my perfectionism and still being duped into thinking everything needed to look perfect in order to be beautiful. Oh my goodness gracious.....how wrong I was! As I continued to read about The Nester and follow along on her journey, the more my eyes were opened and I began to see the abundant beauty hiding underneath all that imperfection in my life. Let me tell you...... It.Was.Life.Changing. Whether she's talking about her philosophy of living in and loving your house, how to accessorize a coffee table, or her number one decorating fix.....every single word she utters is gospel to me and I will gladly follow. Plus, she takes pretty pictures, has great advice, and she makes me laugh on a daily basis! What could be better than that? And let's not forget, she has the gift of "thrift". This living room is almost completely decorated with second hand and thrift store items. Her post on the secret to thrifting is a must read!
