Stephanie told us a little more about herself and her shop:
“I’m a family woman and young adult author. Currently my first novel for teens is on submission to publishers. I make my fabric flowers in the gaps between writing times. I’m very lucky to live in a wonderfully sunny part of the country.
“The act of creating is intensely meditative for me. I have lots of interests that all involve creating: crochet, collage art, gardening, photography, writing, baking, and interior decorating.
“I’m at a point in my life where I’m learning who I am. Artist is a big part, I’m realizing. And whether I’m writing fiction or sewing satin flowers, I’m fulfilling that basic ingrained need to create. And having fun doing it.”
