Winners of the Birthday Party Challenge

There is only one word that describes that this party and all of your links.

“WOW”

The inspiration from this party is amazing! Just take the time to look through the links. Especially if you are planning a party in the future.

You made the judging hard for Abbey, from The cards we Drew, our guest judge of the week.

Here is what she said about her CSI Project experience:

“Thank you SO much for having me this week at The CSI Project. I’m a HUGE fan of planning parties, so this theme was right up my alley and I had so much fun looking through all your submissions (I looked through them all!!). The best part about this week was honestly gaining so much inspiration from all of your posts and realizing just how much creativity is out there in blog land! I’d love it if you guys stopped by my blog in the next few weeks to check out the Love Sweet Love bridal shower I’m co-hosting! It won’t be anything as good as some of these parties, but I’m putting some fun elements into it and learning from some of your ideas. Thanks again for having me. Here’s my top party choices, which was SO hard to decide on!”

Let’s see who she picked as our winners!

Judge’s remarks in italics.

#82 Tweet Bird Party from 52 Mantels

I adore this party! It’s gorgeous, colorful, whimsical, and timeless. The theme is unique and I love all of the colors, textures, and patterns she added to the party. This was hands down my favorite all week and she did an amazing job on it!! Best of all, she even shopped around the dollar stores to make it cost effective, which I really admire. I totally wish I had a girl to style a party like this for!!

#103 Shabby Tea Party  from Craftberry Bush

This party is so pretty. I die over the ruffle ombre cake and the gorgeous serving plates! The backdrop is divine and the whole set up keeps your eye moving from pretty thing to another. And it has some of my favorite flowers on the table too (bonus points! LOL).

#115 Peacock Princess Party from Giggles Galore

I’m very familiar with Giggles Galore’s parties and this party is no exception to her good taste and wonderful styling. This party is so exquisite and unique and the cake, table settings/centerpeices, and cookies were gorgeous. As always, she knocked it out of the park.

#56 Strawberry Lemonade Party from Modern Frills

This party is just adorable. The gingham and country touch to it with the crates and strawberry cartons are fun and I LOVE the custom made cookies. Such a sweet party for a sweet little girl.

#117 Vintage Dick and Jane Party from Giggles Galore

One of the best parts of this party is the unique theme. I would have never thought to use a theme like this ever! I love the vintage touches and the homemade backdrop. The food is so fun, but so easy and doable–it’s great to see people apply creativity to items as simple as a turkey sandwich or popcorn!!

#32 Night Owl Party from Life with Lulu and Junebug

The theme behind this is super fun for kids that age and I especially love the colors and cute owl cookies!!!

#23 Dr. Suess Soiree from Dixie Delights

I had to do a shout out to Dr. Suess especially today and this party is awesome. The cupcakes are so fun and the fishy on the table is hilarious. My son’s favorite movie is the Cat in the Hat, so I definitely appreciate this party!!

#2 Camping Party from Clean and Scentsible

I’m a HUGE fan of camping parties and with a little boy, I totally see a camping party in our distant future. The campfire cake for this party is awesome and I love that every kid got their own water bottle with their name on it. The hobo sacks were a super creative way to do favors too. A+ for creativity–saving this idea for about 5 years from now!

#30 Pink Parisian Party from Life with Lulu and Junebug

I love the colors and the set up for this party. It’s super classy and fun and the little cookies were so pretty.

#69 PJ’s and Pancakes from Tatertots and Jello

The food at this party! Oh my! The hot chocolate bar looked amazing, there were two different pancakes, three different syrups, whipped cream, donut holes, sausage, and fruit kabobs. And it was all displayed so gorgeously!! It’s a good thing you’re wearing comfy PJ’s to this party because there’s no way my pants would fit after the spread there!

#110 Planes/Trains/Automobiles Party from Dragonfly Designs

Such a fun idea for a party with very cute cookies. The best part of this party for me was the ceiling of crepe paper and garlands. I definitely pinned that for future reference…such a good way to decorate for a party!

Also, we have a special pick from our fabulous sponsor, Bird’s Party

#67 Sweet 16 Party from Tatertots and Jello

I think this party has the right combination of creativity, originality and lots of fun that a real party should have!!
