Winners of the Wood Projects Challenge

This was a fun week! I am so inspired by your Wood Crafts/Projects. I love using wood to craft with and its versatility.

Be sure to go through the links and find some inspriration for yourself.

Our guest judge Sarah from Repeat Crafter Me, had the most difficult job picking the winners. I think she did a fantastic job though!

Here is what she said about her judging experience.

I am so excited to be guest judging! Thank you for having me. I love stopping by The CSI Project each week to see what my fellow crafters have been working on and find new inspiration. There was so much talent and creative ideas at this weeks party. I really liked each and every one of these wood projects, but since I can only pick 10, here they are:

And the winners are……drum roll, please…..

#45 Outdoor Pallet Sofa from The Ironstone Nest

WOW! This sofa bench is amazing! I can totally see this at a beach house. The back of the chair has so much character and I love the different textures and colors of pallet wood.

#8 Unbelievable Window Table from Marty’s Musings

I love everything about this table! What a wonderfully creative idea. I really like that the window acts as a keepsake storage area that you can see into. And the weathered wood is gorgeous.

#29 Pallet Train Art from Crafting in the Rain

This is the perfect wall art for a little boys room! I absolutely love the train image she chose and it transferred beautifully.

#13 Wine Rack with Aged Wood Top from Christina’s Adventures

I am always on the look out for stylish and functional wine racks and Christina hit the nail on the head with this one! I love the white paint and aged wood together. I would buy this for my home!

#50 Merry Go Round Bookshelf from One Dog Woof

This is such a clever and cute idea! I love the bright colors and it’s so functional. Makes book reading fun and accessible to kids.

# 25 USA Firecracker Blocks from A Diamond in the Stuff

It’s amazing how such simple materials can make such a clever and cute display. I might still have time to make some for next weeks 4th of July celebration!

#34 Kids Lego (and more) Tray from The Silly Pearl

This is genius! A multi-purpose activity tray is just what my kids need for car rides, plane trips, and for quiet play time around the house. I need to make one of these ASAP!

#39 Awesome New Bench from Old Headboard from Alderberry Hill

It’s almost like this headboard was meant to be converted into a bench. The result is one-of-a-kind! I love everything about it, especially the gorgeous yellow paint color.

#21 DIY Photo Blocks/Birth Stats from Somewhere in the Middle

How great that all you need are wood blocks and Mod Podge! The distressed edges really make this piece. This would make a wonderful baby gift!

#27 Dollar Tree Easel Makeover from Morena’s Corner

You had me at Dollar Tree! I am all about crafting on a budget and these little easels are adorable! The chalkboard in the middle is the best part. So clever!

#53 Hello Sunshine Wood Sign from Deisgned By Dawn Nicole

My favorite color is yellow and I love this message. It is so bright and cheery. Thanks for linking this up. It made my day!!!
