This was a fun week and I was so inspired by your burlap projects. I think the word “wow” came out when I saw them.
Be sure to go through the links and find some inspiration for yourself.
Our guest judge, Diane from The Perfectly Imperfect Life had the most difficult job picking the winners. I think she did a fantastic job though!
This is what Diane said about her judging experience.
I loved looking at all the entries for the Burlap Challenge. Thanks for having me as your guest host! I was impressed by the skills shown by these projects and several times I wanted to jump out of my chair and run out to the fabric store to get me some burlap!
Now, onto the winners!

And the winners are……drum roll, please…..
#23 Burlap purse from Laurmelas House
I’m always amazed by people who can sew good-looking purses and I never would have thought to make one out of burlap. This purse is beautiful and I love that the rosettes are made out of burlap too!
#48 Mixed media Autumn wreath from Gallamore West
I like that this wreath really plays up the roughness of burlap, but still results in a very pretty Fall decoration.
#43 Burlap Poinsettia Wreath from See Vanessa Craft
The “bubble” shapes and poinsettias really class up the burlap and makes it look downright chic!
#10 Burlap stockings from Cherished Bliss
I’m sure Santa, himself, would love to have one of these stockings. The white band really makes them pop!
#16 Burlap Coffee Sack Chair from A Diamond in the Stuff
I love when projects re-use items in a way they weren’t intended, so I appreciate this coffee sack turned seat cushion.
#20 Owl Burlap Banner from Twigs and Twirls
These owls are just too stinkin’ cute. The burlap makes a great frame for them.
#14 Burlap Banner from Somewhere in the Middle
I like the contrast between the ink print and the burlap. I think my daughters would love to have this in their room.
#30 Skirted Table from Dixie Delights
This deck is just beautiful. I love the tan burlap and blue accents together.
#33 Burlap Tin from Silo Hill Farm
Wrapping a tuna can in burlap and making it into a cute little tin is just clever. Love the boa accent.
#39 Burlap Christmas Art from A Glimpse Inside
These pieces make me smile whenever I look at them.
#45 How to Dye Burlap from Tempting Thyme
Dying burlap with tea bags is a really useful tip. The after color in this project looks so much more elegant!
#8 A Fall Wreath from Becoming Martha
This is stunning! The way the burlap bubbles like that and after seeing the tutorial I was thinking it looks so much harder. You are on your way to being better than Martha! Wow! Thanks for linking up.
