The day has finally arrived!
It’s time to link up!
Remember the guidelines:
- All entries for this challenge need to incorporate the challenge’s theme. Since this week’s theme is “Paint,” you must have something that obviously uses paint in your project. Some examples of paint might be — DIY furniture projects, decorating projects that involve paint, different painting techniques such as glazing, crackling or distressing…
- When you enter the challenge, please enter the link to the specific post on your blog that relates to the project — not to your general blog. This will help when a year from now, for example, someone who visits the site can find your project directly.
- The CSI Project button must be in your blog post. This makes it easy for other people to come over and join in the challenge if they like – and for us to know that we have the correct entry in the challenge when we’re judging. And if you use an older post, please update it so it’s current. If you don’t want to update it, please add the button to that post and to the sidebar for the week of the contest. Thanks!
- The project you submit must be your own project and something you have made. (It can be inspired by something someone else has done, but it must be your creation.)
- We ask that you are a CSI follower or subscriber to win the prizes. The more followers the site has — the more giveaways we are able to host.
- If you enter a project into our challenge, we ask that you please leave comments on at least 5 other entries in the contest. Not only is it nice to do, but it’s a great way to meet new people and make new friends.
- By entering, you give us permission to spotlight your projects – we will give you credit and link back to your blog.

Thanks for hosting girls! When I get home from the grocery, I’ll look forward to doing some visiting with the other participants.
Oh, gosh, girls. I’ve been so excited to join you on this challenge! I actually did something I’ve never done before–I posted TWO links! But that just goes to show how much I love using paint.
Thank you all so much for this fun new website. I’m guessing y’all are having a blast with this collaborative effort–you’re all so creative and inspiring, and it’s fun to see some of your best projects all in one place! And thank you for the challenges. It’s nice to have one place to visit to gain inspiration from lots of people. This site represents some of the best of what blogging does for all of us!
Darn it! I put MY NAME! One of these days I will get these linky things down.
I am so impressed with some of these projects already! Wow!
I want to know how everyone gets longer titles than I did! lol Is there some secret to getting more characters in the “title” part?
This looks fun. I’m off to visit other in the contest!
Hi! I just linked up, but the it doesn’t appear the CSI buttons are working right now.
I added another project. I’m just copying your side button and adding a link because I can’t get the HTML to work for me. Thank you for hosting the party!
Hi, I just linked up my Painted Mirrors post, but I couldn’t get the buttons to work. I added a note to the bottome of my post with a link back to the CSI Project…I hope that counts!
Thank for linking up! Just a note — the old button code was accidently copied in the post. I have since updated the code to the correct code so the buttons should be working great now.
We really appreciate everyone linking up!!

I couldn’t get the CSI buttons to work either. But I did a text link. I’ll add the button if you let me know when it’s working!
Love this site! Can’t wait to see more!
Looking forward to checking out all the projects.
I think I just linked my post to yours, but I couldn’t get it to go to the next step, so I’m not sure.
Nope, it didn’t link. I have posted, commented to lots of the other challengers, and put in all my info, but it won’t go to the “next step”.
Okay, so I finally got it to work! Yea!!!
Linked up 2 fun projects!!
such a great project! so many I need to visit! keep it up girls, this is terrific fun. . . now that I figured out how to ‘link’ up!
Wow! Over 100 projects!! Sarah’s got her work cut out for her! Fantastic job everyone! I’m loving everyone’s projects!
Hello fabulous CSI Project Team! Thank you for allowing me to link up a few of my paint projects. This is so much fun! I’ve been around to several of the other participants so far and I’ve seen some amazing makeovers!
Blessings,
Marie

I have a project I’d really like to get done for this, but at the moment that is looking doubtful (at best) since I am a full-time milk machine right now.
I’m linking up an older post. If by some miracle I get the other project done in time, can I add that, too?
Thanks!
FAbulous paint party ladies! Just linked up!
so fun to pop onto other blogs and see what everyone has created!
Just linked up, love all the projects…
HEADS UP, the buttons aren’t working…at least for me.
Strike that…got them to work. Linked up on post and on side of my blog. YAY.
I’m not having any luck getting the button to work!:( I added a link and will try again later.
Thanks!
I tried the button you have on the sidebar and it worked!
New to wordpress. I was able to add a text link on my sidebar, but am clueless on how to add a button to my postings.:(
That Red Headed Stepchild’s reverse-stenciled chalkboard plate is really cute! I couldn’t comment on her page, so I figured I’d comment here and leave her a little love somewhere in cyberspace!
Thanks so much for hosting girls! I had fun using some color just for your project! Hope you all are enjoying your week and have a wonderful holiday weekend! ~ Stephanie Lynn
Man I also had no luck posting the button with the given codes. I tried all 3. I finally right clicked on the CSI button picture. Clicked properties and copied the url. Added it as an image to my blog and linked it to the paint project url. Now it is working great!
Thanks for a fun challenge! Can’t wait for the next one.
So I am brand new to the site and had no idea you did contests but just this last weekend I used tips from here for the quatrafoil stencil so I figured why not enter?
BTW, I love the website! So many great ideas to making my home more exciting and inviting!
Thanks CSI team for hosting the paint party. I am not proficient with blogging and linking. I even put my NAME in for the title…embarassing! Thanks to Ann Marie @ TwiceLovely for giving me a tutorial as to how to link up, otherwise I could not have participated. I’m a major fan of hers.
I hate Central Time! I missed the cutoff time. Oh well, maybe next time. It’s been such a hectic week here. I love so many of the project that were posted!
Thanks so much for the paint party! I have been looking forward to it since you announced it! And all the postings inspired my second paint project post — so THANK YOU!
Oh, Shoot! I wish I would have read this before cut off! I couldn’t get the link to work and didn’t get to play (boo hoo). I would LOVE for ya’ll to come over and see my Winnie the Pooh Mural. I am at persnicketylittles.blogspot.com. I would love to know what ya’ll think. Thanks to those who did share and the CSI Ladies for having us!
My goodness, you all are making this very hard on me . . . keep the great inspiration coming !
Kate
Love some of these projects, especially the chalkboard flowerpot.
