It's been a grand old celebration of color, this week here at The CSI Project. We've had a great time viewing all of your red, white, or blue projects. There were wreaths, flag art, clothing, lighting, tablescapes, treats, home decor, and more--all inspired by America's favorite colors! Our guest judge this week was Amy Bell, who blogs at Positively Splendid. Amy had over 100 red, white, or blue entries to view this week, and she had fun viewing every single one. She loved the patriotic inspiration. We're including her feedback (in italics) about the projects that she picked as her favorites. And here they are now, starting with the overall winner of the Red, White, or Blue Challenge: #87 Patriotic Bustle Dress from Heartbreak Kids With two little girls, I immediately fell head over heels for this darling little dress! I cannot imagine a better outfit to wear on the 4th of July! #20 Painted Stairs from That's My Letter I adore the vintage, rustic feel of this entire project. What a transformation! #4 Patriotic Porch from Second Chances by Susan There doesn't exist a single element of this porch that isn't absolutely swoon-worthy! What an incredible space. #23 Old Glory Painted Sign from That's My Letter If going for a run is what it takes to find roadside treasures like this, sign me up! I love that she took a castaway, fragmented item and turned it into something truly lovely. #61 Americana Door Wreath from The Country Chic Cottage These flowers are gorgeous, and that little flag bunting? Cute beyond words! What a terrific way to greet guests at your front door. #18 4th of July Printable from Landee See Landee Do Printables make decorating for holidays such a snap, and this one is particularly charming. #32 Tin Can Windsocks from Random Thoughts of a Supermom My kiddos would absolutely love to help put together some of these little guys to adorn our front porch! #98 Star Spangled S'mores from Choose to Thrive I can't imagine a more festive treat to serve at a 4th of July gathering. #94 Patriotic Ribbon Topiary from A Diamond in the Stuff This colorful creation would look terrific on any mantel. I can see this being a great option for any number of holidays! #89 DIY Centerpiece from Life in Wonderland I adore any project that transforms ordinary ingredients into something fabulous, and this is certainly one of those. What an inexpensive, yet dynamic, centerpiece option. #71 Burlap and Denim Ruffled Patriotic Wreath from The Scrap Shoppe Everything about this is so festive and fun! I love the button spray of "stars".
