Amanda’s Favorite Paint Projects

Hey everyone…I’m Amanda, your resident CSI girl for the day! I am so unbelievably excited to be here and share a little bit about myself with y’all. As you can probably tell I am a southern girl…Mississippi to be exact. My family moved here from California when I was three years old and we loved it so much…we never left! I am a frazzled, crazy, stern, loving, blessed mom of 4 kids and wife to my own personal, life-size GI Joe. My life can be pretty crazy sometimes, but I’ve found that when I am crafting, decorating, thrift shopping, or blogging….my stress level decreases immensely. I love to share my projects, my successes and my failures, and hope to inspire other women to embrace their creativity. But most of all to not be afraid…to let go of the notion that we have to be perfect. I’ve learned a thing or two on my journey and if nothing else….I have come to the realization that the flaws and failures that we all have just make us stronger and more beautiful! I am excited to be a part of The CSI Project and look forward to getting to know y’all better.

Today I want to share a few of my favorite paint projects I’ve posted on my blog, Imperfectly Beautiful. Most of these are not huge projects, but I like to show people what a huge difference a can of paint can make even on a small scale.

Thanks for letting me share some of my favorite paint projects with you today. It just goes to show that you don’t have to take on a huge project or know how to use power tools to feel a sense of accomplishment. (Although…those are fun sometimes too!) I hope to empower women to take that first step in using their creativity, that I believe, is in each and every one us.

So,ladies….put those thinking caps on and start gearing up for our first CSI Project challenge. And remember…it doesn’t have to be earth-shattering. Be creative, have fun, and come and link up the week of May 24th! I cannot wait to see what y’all come up with!

Be sure and stay tuned tomorrow for Jennifer’s favorite paint projects…….
