The “Turquoise” Challenge Is On!!!
September 28, 2010

Welcome, Amanda from Serenity Now!

I am so happy to welcome one of my best bloggy friends as our guest judge this week…….Amanda from Serenity Now! I love visiting Amanda’s blog….she writes with wit and humor and she totally keeps it real. Her sense of humor always brightens my day. Plus, she posts great decorating and craft ideas, she is an avid thirfter, AND she is a sweet mom to 2 adorable little girls. Reading about her adventures in motherhood make me feel more normal about my own life with crazy kids! She is a girl after my own heart. Here are a few of my favorite projects she’s posted…..

I absolutely LOVE this Pottery Barn knockoff! She found a sad little table and chair set at the Salvation Army, spruced it up with several coats of paint and some cute fabric…..and voila…..perfection!

This transformation of yet another Salvation Army find into such a fab craft space is divine!

How cute are these adorable little halloween bows??? Here is a quick and easy tutorial!

I am pretty sure I can smell this delicious cake thorugh my computer screen! This Sunday Cake is going on my list of must haves for my next party or gathering!

Speaking of adorable and delicious…..aren’t her girls just that? Amanda, we are so excited to have you join us this week as our guest judge! I hope everyone has their “Turquoise” projects ready to show off and link up in the morning…..this is going to be so much fun!

  5. I am so excited to be guest judging this week! 🙂 It’s going to be a blast. I don’t have a lot of turquoise in my home (yet!), so I’m looking forward to finding some inspiration of my own. 🙂
