Next Week’s Challenge….”Handmade Holiday”

Next week’s challenge is just in time for this wonderful holiday season that is quickly sneaking up on us. It will be all about gift giving, gift making, gift wrapping…..and all handmade! That is seriously my favorite kind of gift to give and to receive. Gifts mean so much more to me when I know that someone took the time to handcraft something special just for me, straight from their hearts!

The Magic Bean shows us how to make these absolutely beautiful silhouette Christmas ornaments. What a great gift idea! Any mom would swoon over these little beauties!

These 15 minute felt flowers from Tatertots and Jello are just too stinkin cute! They make great gifts and are so versatile, too. Clip them in your hair, on your belt or your handbag, or cluster them for a sassy brooch!

I am soooooooo LOVING this ribbon wreath (I have a slightly unhealthy addiction to ribbon)! Check out She’s Kinda Crafty for step by step instructions on this great craft.

This simple nativity frame from Imperfectly Beautiful makes a wonderful inexpensive gift.

Martha Stewart shows how to make these great iron on silhouette tote bags.

Gina from The Shabby Chic Cottage always has the most beautiful ideas. I love  this simply beautiful wrapped package! It just goes to show that you can use things you already have on hand and make them into something spectacular.

Get those little hands of your crafting and come back on Tuesday to show us your ideas for “Handmade Holidays”.
