Welcome to The CSI Project! We had some very, very lovely spring decor entered into the challenge this week. It’s so exciting every week to see the projects that you come up with. There is no lack of creativity in blogland, and we are so happy that you come back to share yours with us each week.
We are sorry, though, that some of you missed out on sharing your projects with us this week due to widespread technical issues with Blogger. We missed you! We’re unable to extend the weekly challenge, but we have included all those who left comments about their attempts to link up in the random drawing for the giveaway this week. We hope all of you will be up and running again soon, and look forward to seeing more of your projects in the future.
We want to thank Kristen Salazar, blogger of My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia, for being our guest judge this week. Kristen had a lot of eye candy to enjoy from this challenge, and she loved it! Here’s what she told us:

Kristen viewed your projects, and chose her favorites. She paid each of them the nicest compliments, too! We’re super excited to show off the winners….
#45 French Farmhouse Spring Mantle from French Farmhouse 425
I love the layers used, absolute perfection!

I love the homemade wreath set on top of the mirror. Good example of less is more, it’s stunning!

Love a mantel with a mirror on it as the focal point. The mix of greens used really mixes well.

What’s not to love about the mantel. The finial, the gorgeous mirror reflecting the chandelier, absolutely stunning!

The mix is wonderful.

The branches add a gorgeous touch.

Stunning mix of vibrant colors that caught my eye. Loved that she used new with old and family pictures.

Loved the white and grey with the pop of yellow and the clock is just beautiful!

Love the simplicity and the mirror.

Love the worn PB ledge, just beautiful!

The woodwork, the rustic wood ledge, the moss letter, the mirror, everything put together is stunning! Wonderful job, looking forward to the tutorial!
