We’re thrilled that Cassie is joining us for the Summertime Ideas Challenge. Cassie is an experienced DIYer with an eye for bargains. She’s very talented when it comes to refinishing and repurposing vintage furniture pieces. So talented, in fact, that she turned her hobby into a successful business: Primitive and Proper LLC.
Here’s a little more about Cassie, in her own words:
I am a 32 year old mother of 2- a boy and a girl! I love to decorate… and redecorate….. and then redecorate again! I like all things pretty, prefer a mix of modern and vintage as long as they work together to create and inviting and relaxing atmosphere. Everything I do is on a very limited budget, because I can’t afford it, and even if I could why would I spend egads of money on things I know I can do for less!
If you are lucky enough to live near Cassie, then you might be able to see her and her furniture at a local antique show or craft fair, like the Luckett’s Spring Market this weekend. Looking at all of Cassie’s beautiful pieces out in the sunshine is enough to make us wish we’d been there!
