Sponsor of the Week: Purdy

It’s been a while since we’ve had the chance to sing the praises of our favorite line of paintbrushes, here at The CSI Project.  We’ve said it before, but we’ll happily say it again:  we love our Purdy brushes!

Here is what CSI Girl Beckie says about hers:

From the advice of a friend about 3 years ago I picked up my first Purdy.  I haven’t bought anything else since then.  If you take care of them, they last forever.

I rarely ever tape.  The Purdy angled brushes work perfectly for cutting into corners and painting straight lines.  I think I have collected about 6 different Purdy brushes over the years…because…YES–THE BRUSH REALLY DOES MATTER!

brushPurdy offers a broad assortment of brushes, roller covers, faux finishing tools and painting accessories. Selecting the right tools for any project is a critical step in creating the exceptional painting experience for serious do-it-yourselfers.

Purdy has a new site called Save the Walls.   An interactive site, you can submit questions to Purdy experts, share your own experiences about Purdy, and show off the walls that you painted with your Purdy brush.  You can even view how-to videos that will help you learn to paint like a pro!

At Save the Walls, you’ll find the answers to questions like..…

“I just want to know how to keep a straight edge line when you paint and not have to pre-tape the area?”

“Can I paint over wallpaper?”

“What’s the best way to apply stain?”

“I have water stains on some of my walls. What to do?”

Once you get  your burning painting questions answered, check out Purdy’s current contest.  You could qualify to win dinner with HGTV’s Lisa Portola, or the daily drawing for a $25 gift certificate to your favorite home improvement store.  Go HERE for more details.

Lucky for you, Purdy has a prize for one of our lucky CSI Challenge participants, this week!  Each entry in this week’s challenge will automatically qualify you to win a Purdy Brush Starter Kit.  For additional entries, do any of the following and leave us a comment telling us what you did.  (Please post a separate comment for each action.)

  • Like Purdy on Facebook.
  • Browse the online Purdy catalog, and tell us which product you need the most.
  • Go HERE to find a retailer near you.  Tell us where you’ll be going to get your Purdy brushes.

All right then, let’s get your rollers ready, your brushes set, and GO get something painted in time for our next challenge:

I didn’t realize that Purdy is sold at Home Depot! that’s where I’d pick them up.
