Wow, once again we have been awed by your creativity! It was so much fun to see how many different ways you could beautify the simplest of accessories–lamps. We loved viewing your before and after photos, and seeing the beautiful colors and fabrics you used in your lamp makeovers. Thanks, CSI Project Readers, for sharing your creativity with us each week!
Before we announce the winners of the Lamp Makeover Challenge, we have to give a special award to this week’s guest judge, Jennifer Holmes of Dear Lillie.
Jennifer receives the award of “The CSI Project’s Most Dedicated Judge EVER” for viewing your projects and selecting favorites while she was evacuated from her East Coast home. What a trooper!
We send our best wishes to Jennifer and all our readers living in the path of Hurricane Irene. We’re praying that all of you, your loved ones, and your homes will weather the storm well.
Here’s what our super-trooper guest judge, Jennifer, said about this challenge:
“First, thank you so much for this opportunity. It was so much fun to see all of the amazing lamp makeovers and to be inspired by so many different ideas. It was also neat to visit a bunch of new blogs that I had never been to before! I got “lost” on several blogs looking through so many posts full of so many creative projects and spaces!”
Jennifer offered lovely compliments to all of her favorite projects, so we’re including what she said about each one in italics. So, now–for those of you who still have power–we present the winners of the Lamp Makeovers Challenge!
