Be Thankful Frames{Crissy’s Crafts}

Hello to all CSI readers!
I am Cris from Crissy’s Crafts. So happy that I was invited to share one of my Thanksgiving projects with you today! Growing up in Brazil, I didn’t know about Thanksgiving until I moved to the US almost 20 years ago.  Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays since then. I love everything about it! The Pilgrim story, the smell of my house in the morning while I am cooking grandma’s stuffing recipe(it is the BEST), the children making their thanks leaves to decorate the table to name a few.
 Around the holidays, sometimes we get so busy with trips, get together dinners, food and gifts that we forget just to enjoy time together. We can get overwhelmed but we have to stay CALM and just Be Thankful  for what we have! To remind us of the truly meaning of Thanksgiving, I created my Be Thankful frames. 

 

I am in love with my first choice!

It says “Give Thanks for unknown blessings already on their way“.

The second  says: “Keep Calm and be Thankful.”

Material

Frame Mat{Dollar Store}, glue, scissors, ruler, scrapbook paper and the sayings that you can download for free!

NOTE: This will fit on a frame mat that has a 5×7 opening. You might have to trim the sides before you glue it to the mat.

Measure the sides of the frame and cut the scrapbook paper to fit the sides and paste it to the frame.

I also made this one with left over paper.
