Winners of the Slow Cooker Challenge


Hi and welcome back to The CSI Project!

This week we had a  great challenge and I am amazed by all of the yummy slow cooker recipes and tips. From ribs, to Taco soup to even making play doh, YOU creative ladies have done it all!

Our guest judges this week was the sisters from Six Sisters’ Stuff.

They viewed all of your links and picked their favorites. Here are their picks and what they said about each of them.

Chunky, Cinnamon Crock Pot Applesauce from Mad in Crafts.

The recipe was so simple and easy, but it looks like it would taste amazing! Perfect for fall and a great way to use up apples. Her pictures were amazing and they sucked us right in!

I have to be honest- the name scared me a little bit! But after reading the post and the recipe, I was hooked! What a fun idea!

#40 Crock Pot Apples stuffed with Walnuts from Once a mom, always a cook

Once again, another great recipe for fall. They look so yummy and are something different to make in your slow cooker!

#15 Ribs from The Pinterest Project

I am a sucker for a good rack of ribs and these ribs looked so good- seriously restaurant worthy! The ingredients were simple and the directions were easy to follow- my husband is going to love them!

#7 Crock Pot Playdough from Duke and Duchesses

Such a fun and unique idea! We had no idea that you could even use your crock pot for something like that!

#12 Apple Pumpkin Butter from Home for Hire

 This sounds awesome! The flavors seem like they would blend perfectly! We want to make this immediately

#21 Award Winning Chorizo Chili from Because I like to Decorate

 This unique chili sounds amazing. It has a great list of ingredients that are not typically found in plain ol’ chili. I know that my family would love this!

#33 Hot Fudge Cake from Creations by Kara

We love DESSERTS at our house and this gooey, chocolatey cake sounds incredible. Who knew that such a yummy dessert could be made in your slow cooker?!

#4: Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing from House of Bledsoe

This seems like the perfect weeknight dinner. It’s almost like Thanksgiving dinner, just a million times easier! Looks delicious!

 

#30: Vegetarian Mango Chili from The Tinker’s Muse

The title of this chili is what sold me . . . I love mangoes and was intrigued by the thought of putting it in a chili! The ingredients sounds delicious- I am going to be trying this soon!

#23: Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches from Glue Sticks

We are suckers for all thing Buffalo Sauce flavored, so I was immediately attracted to this recipe! It has very few ingredients and so it is easy and fast to throw together. I know that this will be a keeper at my house for years to come!

I love this because we can all use these tips. They are so pratical and helpful. I appreciate you linking them up.
