Neighbor Joy Ornaments{Imperfectly Polished}

Hi CSI readers! I’m Jessie and I blog over at Imperfectly Polished. I’m thrilled to be back today sharing a gift for a neighbor for the holidays. I chose something simple and inexpensive that your neighbors can pull out each year and remember you:) These are my joy ornaments.

I chose to spray paint some old ornaments I had. We had a lot of brown ornaments around and since brown isn’t in everyone’s color scheme, I painted them white first. I started with all these:
And hung them on a string in our garage to paint.

I used Rust-oleum spray paint in winter gray and gloss white.

Then I sprayed the ornaments on the line and let them dry overnight.

Once they were dry, I sprayed some Krylon Glitter Blast paint {in Starry Night} onto some cardboard and used a craft brush to paint the letters onto the ornaments.

If your letters aren’t perfect, don’t panic. This paint is really easy to wipe off and scooch around. And you’re done! Package them up, and drop them off.

Super easy, and possibly free! {if you have all the supplies on hand}. Your neighbor can hang them on their tree, from a window, or set them out on a buffet or entry bench. If you know your neighbors Christmas color scheme, you can paint or buy ornaments to fit in. You could also paint monograms for each family member, rather than painting a word. The possibilities are endless!

Merry Christmas!

~ Thank you Jessie.

These are lovely and I would love to be your neighbor!

Tonight at midnight{MST} the link party is LIVE!!!

Be there!
