Challenge of the week{Cookie Exchange Party Ideas and Tips}

One of the best things about the holiday season is time with friends and family. It seems that we take more time out of  our busy lives during the holidays and Oh what a joy it can be. My husband and I held an Ugly Sweater Party last night and it was so fun. I also went to an ornament exchange party with my girlfriends earlier in the month and I came home with 11 new handmade ornaments. I love it!

What about Cookie Exchange Parties? These are so fun and a great way to spend time with your closest friends and you get some awesome new recipes which I love. If you have great party ideas or you are in need of some, this is the week for you!

This week is all about Cookie Exchange Party ideas and I am hoping for some inspiration. When I came across this party from the Funky Polkadot Giraffe,  I knew I had to share it with you. Kyla knows how to throw a great party and she has good ideas.

From the invites…..

 To the details of how to throw a party like this.

She answers these questions for you:

* Do I want this to strictly be a cookie exchange, or am I fine with all homemade treats?

* Do I want the treats to be baked?

* Will I allow for duplicates?

* How many cookies do I want each person to take home?

* Will there be prizes? What will they be for? and I love her answer, hehe, so True!

* Will it just be a cookie exchange? Do I want to have any other activities or food that night?

* Who will I invite?

* What does someone do if their cookies burn or the recipe doesn’t work out?

* Will you have everyone exchange recipes?

She even has her past Cookie Exchange parties for you to view…..2009 cookie exchange HERE
and my 2010 cookie exchange HERE.

I think she is an expert and I know you will find so much inspiration for your own party over there at Funky Polkadot Giraffe.
