Hi and welcome back to The CSI Project!
This week we had a great challenge and I am so impressed all of the ornaments that were linked up!
Wow, you made this hard on our judge.
This week our guest judge was Susan who owns, For Pete’s Sake Pottery.
I hope you had time to stop by her store and see all of her beautiful oraments. You can see her shop, here. I need to tell you how much I appreciate Susan. A family in my church tragically lost their 18 month son the day before Thanksgiving and knowing that this Christmas will be hard for them, she made a special ornament that will remind them of their son. I know they will teasure this ornament for years to come. Thank you, Susan.
Susan viewed all of your links and picked her favorites. Here are her top picks.
Her comments are in italics.
Did she pick your project?
Let’s find out who is the winner of the challenge and who made her favorites list.
And the winner is, #58 1 Ornament, 10 Looks from Tattered and Inked
I chose this because it is so clever! I love the idea of having a group of friends over for an ornament making party, printing this out and gathering a range of supplies for us to work with. Each person’s creativity would be able to shine and what fun to see all of the results!
#29, Subway Art Ornaments from Happy Go Lucky
Love the use of a current trend with a personalized touch to capture the year. Oh what fun!
#11 Mini Book Ornaments from Helping little Hands
I would enjoy a reminder of my favorite books every year.
#13 Silicone Bead Ornaments from Bliss Bloom Blog
I love the simple ever changing color.
#10 Map Ball Ornament from A Diamond in the Stuff
A neat idea! Love remembering a vacation in this way
#25 Nutcracker Ornaments from It’s Overflowing
I love the clean, simplistic look!
#43 Gift Box Ornament from Pitter and Glink
okay, how can I not love this?
# 32 Stamped Porcelain Ornament from Renewed Upon a Dream
So clever and simple.
# 38 Vacation Ornaments from Turtles and Tails
I love the memory factor.
# 41 Juice carton Christmas house from Pitter and Glink
How cute?!?!?
#62 Upcycled Lightbulb from Balancing Home
I love to reuse of something along with the sparkles and ease. Perfect kid friendly project.
#124 Dr. Seuss Christmas Tree from A Pop of Pretty
I love all things Dr. Seuss and this entire tree is to die for. So fun and whimsical. And she made most of the ornaments.
I want this in my house. Next year, the red, white and blue America tree may become a Dr. Seuss tree. {Squeal}
