Hi to all you CSI Followers and crafters!
If you are new here, then a BIG CSI Welcome to you and if you are no stranger, then a BIG welcome back!!!!
It is the first week of the new year and that means let’s kick off 2012 with a great challenge.
You probably have lights leftover, maybe some wrapping paper or evergreen wreaths that you aren’t using. Oh, and what about those Christmas cards. All of these things can be reused and crafted to make something new for the 2012.
This was a challenge I was recently faced with for the morning show that I craft on. I used an evergreen wreath create a simple winter wreath and I sprayed my pine cones that smelled like Christmas with fake snow and used them as my dining room centerpeice for winter. I also made an ornament wreath using some of my christmas balls for the tree. We realized this year that we had tons so I made a wreath and spray painted it white. Then, I used wrapping paper that looks more like winter(blue with snowflakes), to hang it. I sewed into a strip to make it more durable. Yes, you can sew wrapping paper.

I also loved this egg carton light using left over Christmas lights. Love it!

So, your challenge this week is to get those left over Christmas items and craft with them. I can’t wait to see your creativity because YOU always amaze me!!! YOU always inspire others and that is The CSI Project’s goal everyday!
