winners of the Red Inspired Week

Judging projects for “Red Inspired” week was no easy task.  I thoroughly enjoyed looking at each and every entry and had a tough time picking the winners.  The talent amongst bloggers is amazing and many of the projects entered are ones that I’d love to make myself.

#16 Remade Red Roses Dress from Crafty Cousins

Finished Red Dress (11)

A four year old, once worn dress is transformed into a super-cute and stylish dress that’s sure to be worn time and again.  I especially loved the rose detail added to the restyled belt.

#32 A Touch of Red on a Wreath from Where the Grass is Greener

I love the mix of texture used with the combination of muslin, waffle weave fabric, and felt.  Three burlap hearts with a small red center make a perfect embellishment for Valentine’s Day.

#7 Valentine Crossword Card from Whimsical Words

Who wouldn’t be thrilled to receive this hand stamped typography themed Valentine?

#40 Paperclip and String Earrings from Pitter and Glink

Can you believe that these cute earrings are crafted from red string and paperclips?  What a fun craft to make and to enjoy!

#41  Valentine Rings from Pitter and Glink

Bethany crafted several adorable rings.  She wore this one to dinner with her husband on Valentine’s Day.  I’ll bet her students liked it, too!

#3 Love Pillows from Tales of a Trophy Wife

Red love birds offer a pretty pop of color against the linen fabric.  This pillow is too cute to use just for Valentine’s Day.

#20 Mini Heart Quilt from Finding Sweet Land

This small quilted wall hanging would make a cute decoration in so many places.

#39 Valentine Jello from Reading Confetti

Jello Jiggler scraps are mixed with gelatin and sweetened condensed milk to make this colorful treat.

#17 Felt Flower Valentine Wreath from Mommy by Day Crafter by Night

The variety of flower type and mix of red and grey makes this wreath especially appealing.  Fabric covered buttons are cute as flower centers.

#37 Chinese Soup Spoon Love Sign at The Silly Pearl

Love Is All You Need Chinese Soup Spoon Wall Art

This cute idea could be adapted to most any holiday.

#53  Moments with the Montanos

These cute origami hearts can be used for a card, bookmark, or as a decoration.

Coca Cola Sign from Tracy’s Trinets
