Embellishing Candles with Tissue Paper{The CSI Girl}

It is Wednesday and that means “Party time begins” here at The CSI Project.

 But wait…..there is one more tutorial that I have for you using my Wagner HT 3500 Digital Heat Gun.

Hi there! It is Dee, your CSI Girl again and I have another tutorial for you featuring my heat gun.

I love candles and I found an easy and inexpensive way to dress up those candles. You can usually find some inexpensive ones at the Dollar Store and they are perfect for dressing up. I made this one in honor of my anniversary to Mr. CSI.

He is my love, my best friend and the man behind The CSI Project.

The candle I wanted to make is, as you would guess, “love” themed.

Here is what you need for this project:

~ Candle of your choice

~ Tissue paper with a design that you like

~ Wax paper

~ Your heat gun- I used Wagner Spray Tech’s HT 3500 (love it!!!)

First, cut out the tissue paper in the size and shape you want. Place on the candle.

Next, use your wax paper to cover the tissue paper.

Now, you are ready for your heat gun. It only takes a few minutes for the tissue paper to set in the candle. I used mine on a low setting.

You are done! Now, your tissue paper should be set in the candle. So easy, but even easier with the heat gun.

Perfect to express your love and of course that holiday that we celebrate LOVE…Valentine’s Day!

There are so many more crafts you can do with a heat gun. I invite you to explore the possibilities.

You need to try out this heat gun.

It is the first digital heat gun on the DIY market. I use mine for crafting and for daily stuff that pops up.
