Egg Carton turned Spring Decor{The CSI Girl}

Hello CSI’ers! It is rare that I get to share my crafts with you so I am excited to today!

My name is Dee and I am the owner of The CSI Project and my cute husband is the technical side of the blog.

I can’t show this picture without showing a picture of our cute dog wearing the same mustache at our Lorax Premier Party.

Isn’t he the cutest?

This week is all about Recyle, Re-Use and Re-purpose so I had this idea when I was getting out my spring decor. This was a fast project and I used everything I had on hand and around my house.

First, I had an egg carton. It was on its way to the trash but I thought “no”. What can I make with this?

So, I started by making 2 holes in it because I also had some cute mason jars that I was dying to use.

After that I took my egg carton outside and spray painted it a nice green color.

Then, I grabbed some moss and decorative eggs.

 I took some old dollar store flowers and also added them in to complete the look.

I had this sitting on my counter all spring. I love the butterflies that were attached to the flowers. I just tore them off and placed them around.

This was so easy to do and fun to recycle an egg carton that was headed for the trash.

You just never know with a little creativity how you can re-use items and even trash to make something cute for your home.

I enjoyed sharing with you today and I appreciate your support of The CSI Project!

Wishing you crafty good luck in all your crafty endeavors,

Dee{the CSI Girl}
