It is officially Summer and that means long hot days by the pool, summer treats and kids home from school. Maybe you need some inspiration to get your summer kicked off right. That is what is going to be the focus this week and it is going to be a bit different.

In other CSI Project news, my very first cookbook is available! It is called “Put a Stick In It” Stick Recipes for brunch or breakfast. I also include how to set the table for brunch or a special breakfast.
These recipes all have a special meaning to me and my life. So, I am very excited to share them with you.

My hope is that you will create these fun recipes. They are easy to enjoy because they are very easy to grab.Ā I also encourage you to share with the next generation as you create these. I am so grateful my Aunt Rhonda took the time to share with me and teach me because now I can share my love for creating with my two amazingly creative step daughters that I adore. It is a tradition that we can pass down and yet it is so simple. The simple things in life can add up to be the things that we remember the most and treasure for all times. So, grab that niece or nephew, your kids or even the neighbor kids that may need that extra love and attention and share with them. It doesnāt have to be anything big. My favorite time is when my youngest step daughter pulls up a stool and watches me cook and I let her help as much as possible. It is a special bonding time of talking, laughing and she is learning how to create so that one day she too can cook for her own family. I know these are memories that we are creating and I cherish each time. So, take the time out of your busy lives and share with someone who is watching you and looking up to you. You never know, you just might make a memory and a lasting impression. Then, one day they just might write a book about it.
