Today I want to share a fun project that will keep your kids entertained for HOURS this summer! Â You can make your own slime with two household ingredients: Â Elmer’s Glue and liquid starch! Â I added washable craft paint to mine for color, but that is entirely optional!
You will need equal parts glue and starch. Â If you want to add color, add some tempera paint to your glue first. Â (I prefer tempera paint over food coloring because it doesn’t stain.) Â After you have the color you want, pour in the starch and begin mixing. Â If it’s still too sticky, just keep adding starch till it reaches the consistency you want. Â If you have too much starch in the end you can just pour it out and rinse your slime in water.
