I am so excited for another week of craft competition and inspiration. This week our challenge is Mod Podge. I know this is a craft staple in any crafter’s home. Mod Podge can be used for so many things and there are so many kinds to choose from.
If you happen to refer to it as Modge Podge, like I do sometimes, don’t worry! You are not alone!
This week we also have a fabulous guest judge. I visited her blog, This HeArt of Mine, one time and immediately asked if she would be a guest judge. I loved her blog for so many reasons. I love that she has so many projects for kids and that she shares her love and life from that heArt of hers!
Meet Amy.
I love how she describes herself on her blog. I will let her, in her own words.
I am also a stay-at-home mom to a wildly exuberant, curly-headed daughter (She stole the curls from me. Hope I get them back some day) and a sweet, chubby baby boy, who is growing at an alarming rate. My Love Bug and Sweet J.
When I’m not performing tasks that put me in contention for mother and wife of the year, I am a mixed-media artist, a do-it-yourself home decorator, a cleaning and organizing fool, a homemade food foodie and a semi-novice blogger. I love using my digital SLR camera in the manual setting. I also dug out my sewing machine and there is hope for me yet in regards to sewing a straight line. I love to read, I love music and when I find a good product, I love sharing it with everyone.
I’m also an introvert, slightly neurotic, wanna-be-blonde-but-I’m-really-not, young woman with boundless creative energy. I like doing things myself and finding cheaper ways to do them. If there is a way to do it, I will try it. If I find something I like but it’s too expensive, I will try to find a way to make it myself for less.
I always have something I’m working on or something I’m thinking of working on or something I want to learn about. And I direct this creative energy on my home.
My home is my haven.
Amy shares great projects with her readers every week. Here are some I love.
Since it is Father’s Day, I love this DAD Cube she shared.
If you look at the pictures on the cube, you will see how cute this family is. Just Darling!
I also love this Clothespin Flower Pot. What a great idea!
Amy also shares yummy recipes and fun activities and crafts to make for kids. I just adore this blog and I know you will too.
