Winners of The Refashions Challenge

This was a fun week! I am so inspired by your Refashions and Upcycles. What a fun challenge! The CSI Project’s Refashion week was a success and we not only had great designs, refashions but we also had some cute and adorable models.

Now, let’s see them in action!

Be sure to go through the links and find some inspiration for yourself.

Our guest judge Meredith from Haute to Sew had the most difficult job picking the winners. I think she did a fantastic job though!

Here is what she said about her judging experience.

Judge’s comments in italics.

I really enjoyed guest judging! The best part for me was all the inspiration I’ve gotten from this experience. There are several projects I’ve added to my to-do list after looking through everyone’s links! It was fun!

And the winners are……drum roll, please…..

#25 Yardstick Stool Makeover by Creative Passage
She made great use of the yard sticks! I am in love with all the painting techniques she used!  She made great use of an old cheap stool and some cheap yardsticks. Gorgeous!

#4 Upholstered Chair Makeover by Live Love DIY
I loved the fabric she chose and the extra detail of the trim.
#6 Vintage Pins Quirky Art by A Swell Place to Dwell
I thought this was a genius way to display old pins. Who doesn’t have a ton of pins to do this with?

#14 Flip Flop Refashion by Morenas Corner
It’s so cool that she did a shoe refashion for a boy. There are so many girl craft projects out there and I love seeing cute projects for the boys too!
#18 Rug Upcycle by Free Time Frolics
This is such a great refashion! The best part is that with one rug, she can change the fabric whenever she wants. And it’s washable.
#43 Jeans Make Over by allons-y kimberly
This is such a cute was to spruce up a boring pair of shorts or jeans!

#72 Swimsuit Refashion by Mandy Made
So clever! Instead of returning an ill-fitted swimsuit, she refashioned it into one that would work for her body type.
#88 Prom Dress: Vintage Upcycle by The View From In Here
Her daughter did a phenomenal job at taking this 1970’s dress and turning into a gorgeous prom dress! I love the bodice on this dress! And her daughter is beautiful too!
#92 Skirt To Purse by Cherished Bliss
I thought this was such a great way to make something new and useful of old clothes. Turned out super cute!
#78 Painted Wedge Sandals by Made In A Day
These shoes went from plain to chic and modern with just a little paint. She did a great job at painting the lines!

#87 Hair Donation from The View From in Here

I love this refashion and the meaning behind it. I love when people serve others by giving in love! This is an inspiration for us all! Thank you for linking up!
