There is truly nothing more important than education in this country. The more any of us are educated, the more chances we have to keep this country thriving and to make a difference. There are areas of this country where children have little chance to get a good quality education. Maybe it is because they need to work to help support their family, maybe it is because their family does not regard education as important or maybe the only school option they have doesn’t care enough to reach out to them.
No matter what the reason, those schools are everywhere and we can’t ignore that fact.
I recently had the pleasure of reading this book that addresses these issues and issues directed towards teachers.
I felt this book helped me to ponder this question,

The authors of this book bring a practical outlook on learning and teaching. They share how they created a charter school in Harlem. They also share the amazing achievements that the students of this school obtained.
