Winners of the Hardware Store Challenge

This was a fun week and I was so inspired by your hardware store projects. You definitely make hardware look good!

Be sure to go through the links and find some inspiration for yourself.

Our guest judge Maria from Craft Crazy Mom had the most difficult job picking the winners. I think she did a fantastic job though!

Here is what she said about her judging experience.

Judge’s comments in italics.

Being a judge on The CSI Project gave me a chance to visit new blogs and interact with new bloggers.
I love the inspiration shared in the blogging community and feel extremely fortunate to have been part of The CSI Project.

And the winners are……drum roll, please…..

#4 Industrial Vintage DIY Light from Pressing On

Simply lovely!

#15 Weathered Wood Backdrop from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom

I loved how she was able to create the backdrop from shims and glue. So easy!
#13  DIY Organizer from Old Window from My So Called Crafty Life
I like how this organizer uses cork, chalkboard and chicken wire at the same time. You can display so much!

#12 Washer Name Tags & Necklace from Fancy Frugal Life

I always admired stamped jewelry and I think this project would be awesome as gifts for my friends.
#8   Custom Bread Boards from Crafty Little Bitches
Fact: I’m afraid of power tools that have blades. Super impressed she made these herself and that she used coffee as a stain.
#7   Coitter Pin Earring from Pitter & Glink
I loved the use of pink ombre and how simple this project is.
#2  Dryer Vent Pumpkins from A Diamond in the Stuff
Way to think outside the box! So cute and a fun alternative to the real deal.

#3   Metal Lace Jewelry from Pinafores & Pinwheels

Another thinking outside the box gem. Love the modern circle pattern.
#6   Vintage French Wine Tray from Bear, Dolly and Moi
I love the added hardware details that make this tray seem a little more rustic and her choice of graphics.

#9 Starfish Coasters from Sweet Yarns

These are so easy and yet so cute. These would make great gifts for any occasion. Love them!

Thanks for linking them up!!!

thanks maria, CSI, and other crafters!

I’m new to this online craft blog world, and wanted to say how much i absolutely LOVE the idea of weekly craft “challenges” – – it’s like being in school again! I don’t even need anything done to my kitchen, but I like the challenge of thinking of something creative to fix there. Great site. Love the sense of community and idea swapping. Can’t wait for Valentine’s in August 🙂
