Hi crafty CSI Friends! This is Dee, your CSI Girl.
I am back from my Hawaii Vacation. It was amazing, but 17 days away from home is a long time. It was paradise, however, and we had a blast. I miss the beach already! You gotta love having the beach right outside your hotel and breakfast in bed each day because you have a great husband. Mr. CSI is that wonderful!
Anyway, back to crafts and OH yeah, it is the Love themed challenge
Have I told you how much I love all of my CSI readers? How much I appreciate your support weekly and daily!
Well, I do. So, that means I love you!
Be sure to email me your love story this week and I will feature it on the Facebook page. I love telling your story! Email me a photo too.
Now, onto the Tuesday Tutorial. This one is all about love of your home state and where you come from. I love all of the state art that you see in blog land and I came up with my own.
That is right! I am a Texas girl born and raised. Now, I find myself in Arizona but my heart is still in Texas.
My family is still there too!
First, I bought this wood from the craft store. I love the rustic look of these.
Next, get a wood burning tool. These are on the same aisle as the wood. I love mine and use it a ton!
I printed out a template of the state of TX and just outlined it. Then, I free handed the heart and wrote the city I am from.
There you have it- State Love!
I also love this state art from Lolly Jane. I {heart} those girls!
I hope you are inspired to create your own State Art and show your state pride. I do believe that no matter how far you get from home, your heart is still where your roots are. Never forget who you are and where you come from.
Happy Tuesday!
