If you are like me, YOU love, love glitter! I think everything is better with glitter. I love the sparkly, shine that it brings to our lives!

Recently, however, I had a glitter catastrophe and glitter went everywhere! The next morning as we were walking into church, I saw it. There was husband’s eye and it was shining. He had glitter around his eye and of course, I started laughing. Him, not so much. But that is what happens when you are married to a crafter.

Which reminds me, stay tuned because this week we will kick off a new series on Friday’s after the challenge.

In this series, I will be interviewing and doing a podcast with the men behind craft blogs. One man even started his own blog and another is married to a craft blog STAR. Hint: Mr. Tater Tots himself!

Ā Even Mr. CSI is giving away secrets about me! Ah-hem, I do have all editing rights. So, stay tuned for that. It will be a great series.

Back to glitter…..Fall is right around the corner and I couldn’t be happier. Arizona summers are hard to take in but fall and winter are wonderful. So, with fall in mind I made this wooden pumpkin. I used Krylon’s Glitter Paint.

I {heart} Krylon Glitter spray paint.

Have you tried it yet?

I found mine on Amazon. You can just click the image above and it will take you to the page to buy your own.

I also got Diamond Dust which is black.

I have some Halloween projects to come using that color.

But for now, I made a pumpkin that I added to my porch.

I found this pumpkin at Michael’s and it has holes in it so you can put in small christmas lights.

I spray painted it with my glitterĀ  spray. Painted the stem and added some wire the top. Then, I hot glued on a leaf and stenciled the word

ā€œHOMEā€ on it.

Easy and looks great on my porch.

Instead of christmas lights I used some Halloween lights from last year.

Look at that glitter!!! Love, love, love!

I added the green wire to give it that touch of whimsy.
