Hi everyone! It is your CSI Girl kicking this week off with a burlap tutorial.
I think burlap and fall go hand and hand. I love to decorate using burlap during the fall season. It adds texture to any project. Love, love, love burlap and I hope you do too!
This week is all about burlap and using it in our crafts.
I found these glasses pieces in the candle aisle at the Dollar Store.
I will admit that they set in my craft room for months because when I got home I wasn’t sure what I wanted to make. So, there they set but then with fall decorating on my brain, I came up with something.
I grabbed some burlap and Gorilla Glue.
I turned the candle holder up the right way and glued down.
After that dried, I simply added the burlap and hot glued it around the glass. Then, I grabbed some fall leaves and glued them on.
I added 3 leaves total. Next, I grabbed some jute and tried it around.
Add a candle and this makes a fall candle holder with burlap!
On the inside, you could add glass beads in fall colors or candy. This would be great as part of a center piece and very inexpensive to make.
And look at this centerpiece that I created for my dining room table. I turned a large martini looking vase upside down and put it in the center of a fall wreath. Then, decorated with a cute pumpkin centerpiece. I love the height of it.
Love that my house is all decorated for fall.
Is yours? Why not add some burlap to your fall decor.
