Gold is one of Fall’s hottest and trendiest colors. You can incorporate it in your home decor, in your wardrobe and in your fall crafts. I think gold provides a touch of class and elegance in this season.
I love all of the fall colors seen in this photo and have used it as my inspiration for decorating for fall. I especially love the gold tones mixed with orange. Now, if only I could be where this photo was taken.
So, in order to inspire you, I wanted to show you some of my favorite gold crafts and decor.
I saw this wreath last year from Madigan MadeĀ and I fell in love. I know I am not the only one.

I also love gold accents in the home. Don’t be afraid to decorate with this color. Is is gorgeous paired up with this dresser. This is from Young House Love.
IĀ also created a gold mirror for a friend of mine. She gave me an old mirror that she had and said,” redo it for me and I want something gold”.
So, I got busy.
I created this with wood shims and gold spray paint.
It looked like this before:
I cut half of my shims to makeĀ smaller ones. spray painted gold andĀ used wood glue to attach it to the mirror.
Now, it looks like this.
I love the transformation and I am happy to say my friend did too! I cannot wait to see what you have done with the color gold and how you have incorporated it into your home for the holidays or everyday!
