Welcome back to The CSI Project where it is always a new craft challenge, a new guest judge and a new sponsor. We like to have crafty fun around here, so stay for the fun!
It is the color Gold challenge this week and as your CSI Girl and fearless leader, I am going to be sharing 2 of my beadboard pumpkin creations featuring Gold.
I have made many designs since getting my beadboard cut into Pumpkin shapes.
I made a rustic pumpkin. It’s Fall Ya’ll Pumpkin and a candy corn inspired pumpkin. You can see all of these up close, here.
I am on my way to creating my very own pumpkin patch.
With the color gold in mind and Halloween, I came up with a masquerade inspired pumpkin.
First, I took my plain white beadboard pumpkin and my gold metallic paint.
IĀ sand eachĀ beadboard pumpkin beforeĀ painting. It helps the paint to go on easy and stay.
Next, I had a pretty gold pumpkin.
I sanded it some more because I like that rustic effect.
IĀ picked up aĀ blankĀ mask, a feather and bling stickers Ā from the craft storeĀ to complete my look.
I painted the mask black first and then used Martha Stewart’sĀ black glitter paint to go on top. More glitz and glamour the better for this project.

Back to the project……..
It is time to complete the look. Here is my Masquerade Pumpkin.
Talk about all dressed upĀ and no where to go!
