Hard to believe that an entire year passed by since Samantha’s 2nd birthday. sigh..where does the time go?
This year she wanted a Fairy Party. Not being a real “girly girl”, I decided to go with the Woodland Fairy Theme for her 3rd party.
Colors were all from nature including greens, oranges, reds and yellows – there will be no pink and purple fairies for our Sammie.
11 Fairies and 3 Woodsmen enjoyed a beautiful afternoon in the sunshine
playing games, having a musical parade, painting fairy houses and plaques, listening
to fairy stories and enjoying each other’s company in the Enchanted Forest.
This actual fairy house was abandoned in the forest on our property. We carefully removed it and transplanted it closer to the house. All the children loved it.
The Birthday Girl
Alice the Fairy was read by the older fairies while
the children sat quietly in the Mushroom Grotto eating
a wild trail mix.
Inspiration for the decor was taken right from the woods.
Hand crafted wooden cake stands coupled with some vintage
wooden cloches made up this sweets table.
A Magical Musical Parade to wake up the creatures of the
Enchanted Forest was a highlight.
Painting fairy houses and woodsmen plaques as a real treat.
All feasted on some fairy treats.
These delicious fairy and woodsmen cookies were a real delight
for all the guests.
A wish was made…..
When the day was over….the fairies returned to the Enchanted Forest
and all was right again…
