Winners of the Valentine Treats and Eats Challenge

This was a fun week and I was so inspired your Valentine Treats and Eats. Who is ready to eat this V Day?

Be sure to go through the links and find some inspiration for yourself.

Our guest judge, Mary from My Crafting Attic, had the most difficult job picking the winners. I think she did a fantastic job though!

She had the hard task of selecting the winners, so let’s see how she did. Here is what she said about her judging experience.

I am so happy to have been a part of this weeks challenge. I absolutely LOVE the month of February and Valentine’s Day of course. It was so hard to choose my favorite treats and now have a long list of recipes to try. I wanted to say a special thank you to The CSI project for letting me participate and I can’t wait to see what is in store for challenges to come!

And the winners are……drum roll, please…

This was an amazing idea and project! The idea of an inside out chocolate covered strawberry makes me smile. Her step by step instructions were perfect. I will be making these next week!

#4 Red Velvet Oreos from Diamond in the Stuff
There is just something about red velvet desserts that scream Valentine’s Day for me. This was the perfect take on that red velvet taste but a simpler dessert. These would make fantastic Valentine’s gifts for people as well!
#5 Perfect Valentines Steak from Architecture of a Mom
When you think of Valentine’s Day, your mind often goes right to dessert. However, if your cooking a meal for that special someone, you want the main course to rock. This recipe and rather unique cooking method is perfect to achieve just that.
#6 Marshmallow Heart Pops from Designed by Dawn Nicole
Marshmallow {Heart} Pops
These are so adorable and great to make for younger kids as a Valentine’s treat. These would also make fantastic Valentine’s Day gifts and is something even the kids can make.
#7 Heart Tarts from Mostley Food and Crafts
These are super easy and so cute to make. Perfect that a Valentine’s Day morning treat even. I love how her children were able to make them on their own too!
#8 Valentine Trifle from Kaleidoscope of Colors
I have yet to each a trifle I didn’t like and I am willing to bet this one is no different. This would be perfect for a party or to serve as the perfect Valentine’s dessert. Amanda’s step by step instructions were great.
#9 Jam filled Valentines from The Ever Budding Bear
This is simply an adorable take on the thumbprint cookies you often see at Christmas. Simple, elegant and oh so yummy!
#12 Valentine’s Day Brownies from Just a Girl and her Blog
Brownies
You can never go wrong with brownies as a yummy treat. Add some fun and festive Valentines themed sprinkles and icing and you have a visually appealing and equally yummy treat!

This is a very unique and might I say dangerous dessert. I had never hear of edible paper and markers but am so glad I have. They are such a cute way to personalize a gift and yummy treat to someone.
#16 You Rock Cupcakes from Momma D and Da Boyz
You Rock Cupcakes Wilton www.MommaDandDaBoyz.net
This is such a perfect example of getting creative for Valentine’s Day. This is a great treat for boys to bring to school for Valentine’s Day parties and such. It’s a “manly” way of saying, “I heart you”!
