This was a fun week and I was so inspired your Subway Art Projects. I love the variety of projects that were linked up.
Be sure to go through the links and find some inspiration for yourself.
Our guest judge, Amy from One Artsy Mama had the most difficult job picking the winners. I think she did a fantastic job though!
She had the hard task of selecting the winners, so let’s see how she did. Here is what she said about her judging experience.
It was such fun being a guest judge here this week! Thanks so much for the opportunity. I really enjoyed seeing and reading about all the projects, and I’m feeling inspired to make some subway art soon myself!
Judges comments in bold.
And the winners are……drum roll, please!

#1 NY Subway Dresser from Simply Vintageous by Susan

I absolutely love the look of the subway art on a dresser, and this one is so well done! I {heart} NY, so seeing the street names I’m familiar with is such fun; I’d totally have this piece in my house!

The colors and the Union Jack on the top of this dresser are such a great compliment to the fun subway art text! A great statement furniture piece!
This piece is such a great work of statement art, and I love that she was able to customize it using places that mean something to her family. It still has the overall feel of the inspiration piece, but is much more personal {and a whole lot cheaper}!
I love this for a kitchen! I think Dawn did a great job choosing her fonts and fitting her words onto the pallet. It has a great rustic look and is a nice accent to her kitchen decor.
This piece is so gorgeous; it obviously took a lot of time and work and the end result is stunning. I particularly like seeing subway art on a tray; it’s different than the typical project, which makes it all the more appealing.
I’m such a huge fan of the beach that these rules appealed to me in a big way! I love the idea of putting them on a pillow, and the rustic, beachy look of it is just perfect for a vacation home!
This sign has such a fabulous shabby chic look, and I can’t believe the wood cost her less than forty cents! So gorgeous!
Again, the art on the dresser is so well done, so fun, and such a great statement piece of furniture for any room.
This idea is so original; I would never have thought to do subway art of book titles on an actual book cover! I may have to steal the inspiration! Plus, it has some of my favorite book titles included.
It’s so important to be inspired and to remember why we started blogging in the first place. This cute piece of subway art is a great way to keep that reminder visible and fresh in the mind!
I like the mixture of fonts, images, and colors in this fun and festive free printable! I would definitely display it in my home.
