Our guest judge, Trine from Creative Pink Butterfly, had the most difficult job picking the winners.
I think she did a fantastic job though!
She had the hard task of selecting the winners, so let’s see how she did. Here is what she said about her judging experience.
I must say congratulations to everyone who made the list and everyone who didn’t. I had no idea it would be this hard to narrow it down to 10 projects. I think all of the projects were great and it was so hard for me to choose who should win! I will be posting the same list on my blog on Sunday – so you all get featured on my blog too! (Thats how awesome I am! 😉 )I would like to thank Dee for letting me be a guest judge. I have really enjoyed it! I know some of the projects are old and some are new, and for those who have been working on their project this week I have something to share with you – so have I! I have been repainting an old cabinet to become a TV unit! I will be posting all about it on my blog on Monday, so feel free to stop by!!
Judges comments in bold.
And the winners are……drum roll, please!

The Mail Desk from Two Oh Two Seven
I love this piece! I want this piece! I absolutely love everything about it from its gold dipped legs to its beautiful original knobs. I am so inspired to redo a piece of furniture just like this.

Hand Built Nightstand from Attempts At Domestication

I envy this! I really want to start building my own furniture (its on my goals list) but I am so lost and well… clueless! I think this really turned out amazing!
Bench Out Of Chairs from A Diamond In The Stuff
Taking a piece (or pieces) of furniture and making a new piece is so cool. I love the colour and fabric choice on this bench and I can imagine it in a friends house. That really means its a great project!
Long-Legged Ladies from Distressed Donna Down Home
Making end tables out of drawers is such an amazing idea! I am in love! Now… where can I get some awesome drawers?
Black Distressed Table Re-Do from The Thinking Closet

I loved that the post was so different from what I am used to. The story was so funny 🙂 Its nice with someone else than just a tutorial. I also love the tips and tricks section in the post 🙂
Arabella – Table Temptress from Distressed Donna Down Home
I love the top of this piece. There are so many layers that create this beautiful piece of furniture! This is something I know I never could recreate myself.
Dresser Redo from Minettes Maze
I really think this piece had so much character. I have never been a fan of the distressed look but this project makes me want to give it a go 🙂
Bougainville Beauty from The Vintage Barn
I think this makeover looks great. I love the colour. Switching the upper and lower drawer was a need little trick. The fabric liner looks great and really ties the whole project together.
French Style Chair Makeover from Serendipity Refined
I love the chairs, they really look amazing and I adore the fun fabric on the back.
DIY Drum Table from Revolutionaries

I had to have this one with as well but I couldn’t really place it anywhere else. I find it so amazing that they turned a drum into an end table. I am stunned.

Lamp into Table from Thrifty and Chic
This is so beautiful and so very creative! I am amazed and I love the colors. Wow!!! So inspiring and thanks for linking up!!!
