Garden Inspired Tray{Girl in the Garage}

Girl in the Garage

Hi everyone! I’m Jen from Girl in the Garage. You may have seen the hutch makeover that I shared here on The CSI Project last week. I blog about DIY furniture makeovers, home decor, and sometimes just whatever’s going on in my life. This week I wanted to share my French Flower Seed Tray with you – it’s the perfect home decor for spring/summer!

I started with a plain serving tray and used Mod Podge to adhere vintage French flower seed labels that I bought on ebay. Here is the Before:

My original plan didn’t turn out the way I expected, but I was able to come up with a new design and I think it turned out beautifully! When you’re working a DIY project, you definitely have to keep an open mind and be prepared to make adjustments. You can read all about the process here. This is an After picture:

I’d be so happy if you were to stop by and tell me what you think! Thanks Dee for letting me share this project on your blog! 🙂
