This was a fun week and I was so inspired by your sewing projects. You all amazed me by your talent this week! Blew me away!!!

Our guest judge, Becky from Patchwork Posse, had the most difficult job picking the winners. I think she did a great job!

Becky had the hard task of selecting the winners, so let’s see how she did. Here is what she said about her judging experience.

#21 DIY Patchwork Pillow from Smart Girl Style

It can be sewn with smaller pieces of your favorite fabric. I love the additional stitching on the edges of the blocks, and even in red! This method lets you not worry about what size they should be, perfect matching edges…ect. Piping on the outside edges are a great addition to make them more professional looking and using your previous pillows as templates for the size is a great way to ensure that the finished pillow is just what you wanted. Great job!

I love adjusting things that we love, but don’t work anymore. This idea is brilliant, and something anyone can do.

#31 Easy Glitter Clutch from Occasionally Crafty

We all have little bits of notions and this is a great way to use them!

#24 Sugar Plum Dress from Once Upon a Sewing Machine

Love the simple shape, but wonderful additions- cap sleeve, ruffles and collar. No buttons, zipper. Simple.

#11 reversible tote for doll from Real Coake

Who doesn’t love sewing accessories for their dolls! The flower accessorie is a fantastic addition too.

I love that you can make a rag quilt with minky on the back! And, who doesn’t love personalizing them too.

I am a sucker for plushies! This one doing double duty to help sooth tears is a fun one.

a two for one! Great for having one for each month, and saving storage room.

#1 United States Scraps Quilt from While Wearing Heels

This is a great idea to showcase the United States and use little bits of fabric. You could even do this as an eye spy.

I love the different and bizzare. This is a great one! Go for your idea, draft it out and finish it into a great pillow that will definitly start some conversations.
