Guest Judge of the Week{Mix and Match Mama}

I usually start this week off by welcoming you back to another crafty week but I am going to change it up a bit.

Welcome back to a YUMMY week here at The CSI Project!

Our mission to Create, Share and Inspire includes food. We all love food and who doesn’t need more recipes!

Our guest judge this week knows all about creating good food and lucky for us she shares her creations.

Meet Shay.

Her blogging home is

Mix and Match Mama

Shay is a mom of 2{almost 3}, a wife to a man that she says has the healthiest diet known to man kind. She has been cooking and entertaining since she was 1o, so you know she is belongs here. We love party throwing kind of women. She lives in Texas. Just another reason why I love her. Us, Texas women have to stick together even in the blogging world. Shay is also the perfect judge for this week because on her blog you can find 42 Slow Cooker recipes.

She is THAT good!

You may also know her little brother or at least you have seen him. We should all thank Shay and her husband because they turned his name into ABC so he could fall for Emily on the Bacherlorette and then become ABC’s The Bachelor.

You know him as Bachelor Sean but he is a brother, a son, an uncle and now a Fiance’.

I have to admit that I have seen every season of the Bachelor and Bachelorette except for the season they had the prince. From the very first rose ceremony, I have been there. For the last 5 seasons, I have been watching with my girl friends every week. Every week we gather at my house and every week Mr. CSI makes us his famous popcorn. He waits on us, bringing us more popcorn and drinks. He listens to us as we live the drama and yes, he has been known to get in on all of the gossip and drama. He can’t resist girls night either!

On the finale, I line the entry way with roses and candles to greet my girls. We drink Martinelli’s and everyone goes home with roses to celebrate another happy couple finding love.

We were there for every “most dramatic rose ceremony” and we were there for every glorious moment that Sean took his shirt off. For every kiss, for every rose he gave out and we were there when he rode off into the sunset on an elephant.

We also got to see Shay on t.v. and she said everything we were thinking. We loved her advice to Sean and well, we just loved her! Not to mention her cu-ute kids!

And she met Chris Harrison. He is on my list of people I would love to meet. He is like a tv show host and a therapist in every season.

Anyway, back to the food and this week’s fabulous guest judge.

Here are a couple of her slow cooker recipes that I can’t wait to try.

I love Chicken Tortilla Soup and better yet, I love a great recipe. Here is Shay’s Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup.

You can save so much time making this in the slow cooker!

You also need to check out this Slow Cooker Jambalaya recipe too!

You can also make breakfast in the slow cooker.

Overnight Oatmeal

Yummy and easy!
