Welcome back to another crafty week!
This one is going to challenge you and make you think outside of the box- or should I say, outside of the craft store.
I am talking finding inspiration from Home Depot, Lowe’s or Ace. Anywhere that carries all of the hardware you could ever ask for.
What inspiration would you find walking down those aisles?
I think that washers can be transformed into great crafts. The come in different sizes so you have many options.
From necklaces, bracelets and now a bookmark!
I started off with some plain bookmarks I bought at Plaid Barn. They are metal and the possibilities are endless.
All this project took was Mod Podge, Mod Podge Dimesional Magic, scrapbook paper, stickers and a washer. There are many sized so pick what size you want.
I decided to make one with my initials. I am always looking for a bookmark so I am in need for one.
I used Mod Podge Matte to glue down my scrapbook paper onto the washer. I didn’t cut the center hole. The washer gave me a good base.
Then, my Mod Podge Dimensional gave it that raised effect and it looks great. I just hot glued my washer onto the bookmark and I was done.
What has inspired you from the hardware store?
We can’t wait to see what you have created. I am excited for lots of new inspiration!
If you made it using items from the Hardware store, then you know what to do- Link it up!!!!
We hope you will join us this week as we bring you a new craft challenge!
Are you ready? A trip to the hardware store of your choice is a must!
